Corsica – holidays on a hot island

Corsica's popularity among tourists is mainly due to the very warm Mediterranean climate on the island, which guarantees good weather. Tourist traffic is mainly concentrated around Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio in the south and Calvi in the northwest. Ajaccio, the capital of the region and the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, is of course no less popular.
