Chausson integrated version looks very interesting. Neat and well-planned model Exaltis encourages to set for a long journey - even now!
Chausson Exaltis draws attention with its appearance and well-designed interior. In each of the five variants we can find four beds and four seats with belts.
One bed is located in the front of the vehicle and is manually lowered. When it’s pressed against the ceiling, we can use the circular LED lamps installed in the bottom, placed in two rows.
Another two people can sleep in the back of the vehicle – on one double bed or two single, set along the axis of the vehicle.
No matter what version we choose, in each we’ll find an L-shaped kitchen, as well as a seating area for five people, which is also formed in the shape of the letter "L".
The biggest differences between the models connected with interior systems are related to the bathroom. In the basic model it’s integrated with a shower. In three higher models - shower cabin is set on the opposite side of the toilet, but the bathroom-shower together with bedroom part can be separated from the dining room. In the longest model the bathroom can be closed from both sides – and thus it’s separated from the bedroom and from the dining room.
The three lengths
Time for numbers. Exaltis is offered in three lengths. Two models measure 6.99 m, two other - 7.38 m, and the longest - 7.41 m. Maximum permissible gross weight of each model depends on the customer's order and can amount 3.500 kg, 3.650 kg and 4.250 kg.
The motorhome is based on Fiat Ducato, which can be driven by an engine with the capacity of 2.3 liters (130 hp or 150 hp) or capacity of 3 liters (180 hp).
According to the trends
Exaltisa interior looks modern. Particularly impressive are two-tone wall cabinets, in which two primary colors are separated by a silver strip. Handles are in silver color as well.
All the lights inside were made in LED technology – there’s a ceiling lamp consisting of a number of relatively large LEDs hidden behind a transparent, rectangular shade and reading lights at the beds. Wardrobe is also illuminated, as well as the stair at the entrance. During the day the most important source of light comes inside through the panoramic sunroof.
The standard equipment of the motorhome includes, among others, a garage, 175-liter fridge and the heating with the power of 6000 W. Customers can choose from three types of furniture finishes and six fabric designs.
The manufacturer provides a 5 year warranty on the body, which is made of polyester material. This also applies to reinforced roof.
Chausson Exaltis seems to be a successful car which can be recommended especially to customers looking for a small, integrated vehicle, who got a bit bored with the proposals of German manufacturers. The French are trying to provide a decent standard, and a very well planned interior layouts. Customers should take it into account.
