The Carado highlights at the Caravan Salon

Experience wanderlust live and be enchanted by the popular motorhome brand

It is the absolute highlight for camping fans and manufacturers of motorhomes and caravans: the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, which welcomes visitors from all over the world from 29 August to 6 September. As the world's biggest trade fair for motorhomes and caravans, the industry event attracted more than 190,000 guests last year. This year, too, 590 exhibitors will be enticing visitors with 2000 vehicles in an area spanning 195,000 square metres. For anyone who wants to feel the happy-go-lucky nature of mobile travelling for the first time, who wants a child-friendly holiday in the outdoors and who places value on relaxed comfort and complete well-being without luxurious extravagance, paying a visit to the Carado trade fair stand C42 in hall 16 is well worth it. This is where the brand is presenting its entry-level, classically elegant “made in Germany” models. For the pure joy of holidaying on wheels.

A package with even more style and design

Included in the Carado vehicle programme are ten semi-integrated, three alcove models and five caravans. Carado is presenting the “Comfort Chassis” package for all motorhomes for the first time at the Caravan Salon as well as the “Carado Emotion” package for semi-integrated models. Both new features facilitate further individualisation of the vehicle by means of attractive optical details. “Carado Emotion” upgrades the outside with aesthetic decals, exterior paint in metallic champagne and high rear light carrier elements; the “Chassis Comfort” comprises, for example, an instrument panel with chrome bezels, leather steering wheel and gearstick knob, LED daytime running light strips and a radiator grille with gloss black finish. In addition, genuine Carado accessories are now available with which the equipment can be further personalised.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly out and about with the new recreational vehicle, all Carado buyers will now receive the new practical guide on DVD. It features 13 short films with helpful tips relating to safety, operation and caravanning in general, so that every trip is an all-round successful excursion. Whether on a big tour or a spontaneous trip out to the countryside – Carado drivers are prepared for any eventuality with the special tips, tricks and instructions. And even well-versed Carado friends can profit from the advice, too. You can also see the films on Carado's dedicated social network channels, like YouTube and Facebook, and “like” them if you find them useful.

Double Carado pleasure for three generations

With its product programme, Carado appeals to people of any generation: whether “best agers” who enjoy their leisure time with spontaneous trips along the most beautiful routes in the countryside, or young families who value the flexibility of holidaying in a mobile home above all. The latest image campaign also reflects the family nature of the Carado with atmospheric pictures of grandparents, parents and children camping by the sea.

With its “Carado generation” concept, the brand ties in directly with the family idea. At the Caravan Salon, it offers three families from at least three generations the opportunity when purchasing a Carado motorhome to purchase a second one at a much reduced rate. Carina Ströbele, responsible for marketing and communication at Carado: “In this way, children, parents and grandparents can spread themselves over two vehicles for their journeys, choose different routes and rendezvous points. The individual experiences with the motorhome and the funniest and also most exciting stories are shared by the family members in the Carado travel log as well as on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. At regular intervals, they report in posts, videos and pictures about their joy of communal caravanning across all generations and, no doubt, also give other families a flavour of how fun travelling together in a mobile home can be.”

A brand that enchants

As a family-friendly brand, Carado has also paid special attention to young visitors at the Caravan Salon. On both weekends, “Herr Schneider” the magician will treat his audiences at the trade fair stand to his illusions six times a day. His repertoire includes bending spoons, pinching watches and card tricks, which he will perform to trade fair visitors large and small with humour and enchantment. A little extra: There will also be a Carado card game, for the first time, with which visitors can try out a few tricks themselves – or simply use to play cards when they want to spend some time with the family and be together on holiday in the comfort of their Carado.
